KDS Lab Desk: reporting software for a pathology lab
A small-town laboratory was copying old Word files for every patient report. We replaced that with a purpose-built Windows application that works without internet.
- Patient registration, result entry with automatic checks and warnings, doctor approval, and locked reports with a full correction history.
- Clean printed and PDF reports with a verification QR code, sent to the patient on WhatsApp, linked by scanning a single code.
- Nightly automatic backups, in-app updates, an owner dashboard with charts, English and Hindi screens.
- Designed for a non-technical owner: no settings to learn, no technical terms on normal screens.

About
I'm Santosh Ray, a technology leader working with AI agents and workflow automation, based in India. I lead a small team of engineers and work directly with clients, so you talk to the person responsible for the result.
I also run community education work in my home village, KDS Knowledge Center. I like technology that gets used by ordinary people on ordinary computers.
